Steeler, Inc. is dedicated to supplying products which meet or exceed all applicable codes and ratings. Our knowledgeable engineering team is available to answer any questions you may have about the code compliance process or how our products fit an individual project’s requirements.
Codes
Steeler products meet or exceed all applicable ICC, IBC, AISI, and ASTM standards. Our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet or exceed code compliance. Steeler recently joined the SFIA, and with that comes additional standards and codes we are held accountable for. The SFIA regularly performs unannounced third party testing of its members to ensure product compliance and that quality assurance and control procedures are in-place and practiced. This is in place to guarantee that only high-quality products reach the jobsite. Visit SFIA Technical Data for more information on their rigorous testing procedures.

Steeler products are third party tested to ensure fire ratings are in accordance with UL 263 and ASTM E119. Third party testing is also performed to warrant that sound ratings are in accordance with ASTM E90 and E336, based on standards for airborne and impact sound transmission and STC/FSTC levels.
