Perfect for multi-purpose sheet metal & HVAC work and other steel framing and metal to metal applications.

Larger sizes are manufactured for heavy duty steel framing and fastening multiple layers of heavy gauge steel.

  • Driller tip installs faster: The driller tip on the Super Hex Drillers finds its way through HVAC work and steel framing easier, saving you time and effort on installation.
  • Hex head adds strength: The hex head on our Super Hex Drillers allows for greater torque without cam-outs.
  • Tougher coatings last longer: Super #4 & #5 PT Hex Drillers are rated for 500 and 1000 hours of rust resistance, making them more than tough enough for interior HVAC work that faces moisture, such as plumbing.

Super Hex Drillers feature a driller tip and extra wide washer. Use a hex-key wrench for this screw. Part numbers are 26A(Z), 26BZ, 26C(Z), 26EZ, 28AZ, 28BZ, 28CZ, HWHTZ10-2, 29BZ, 29CZ, and HWHTZ14-114. “Z” denotes availability in zinc coating. Shaping City Skylines Since 1974. Our steel members 33 mil and higher are engineered for use in structural applications. As you can find in our Project Gallery section, Steeler is proud to have been involved in quite a few large-scale projects over our 40 year history. Many of these projects could not have been built without the use of Steeler structural steel stud framing, which is known for being stronger and thicker (compared to its non-structural counterpart). For heavy-duty jobs, you can trust Steeler structural metal stud framing to handle the load.

Traditional Thickness Steel Framing

Integrity Down to the Mil. Our Elite product line is a fantastic equivalent choice, but some projects simply call for traditional thickness steel. Some contractors prefer using it. We at Steeler know this, which is why we offer full-gauge versions of all our products, giving you a traditional thickness option for every application. If you ask for traditional thickness at some places and they'll give you EQ without hesitation. If you request a true 030 material from Steeler, we can give you honest 030 material without substitute.
