Integrity Down to the Mil. Our Elite product line is a fantastic equivalent choice, but some projects simply call for traditional thickness steel. Some contractors prefer using it. We at Steeler know this, which is why we offer full-gauge versions of all our products, giving you a traditional thickness option for every application. If you ask for traditional thickness at some places and they'll give you EQ without hesitation. If you request a true 030 material from Steeler, we can give you honest 030 material without substitute.

We offer Traditional Thickness options for all of our product shapes. Simply say “No EQ” and we’ll supply traditional thickness steel with integrity. Our traditional thickness steel framing meets ASTM A370, A1003, C754, C1513, C645 (non-structural), and C955 (structural). Members 033 and thicker are engineered to be load bearing and thus structural.

Furring Channel

Level the Building Field. Steeler Furring Channel (also known as "Hat" channel) is a cost-effective way to ensure even walls. Our simple-to-use Furring Channel installs easily with gypsum products to create level ceiling and wall systems. Protecting your interior and exterior framing members from uneven surfaces, flames, and moisture is a job best reserved for Steeler Furring Channel.
