Materials 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 25 gauge materials are formed from either ASTM A-446, Grade A, ASTM A-527, ASTM A-570, Grade 33, or steel with a minimum yield of 33,000 PSI or 25,000 PSI. 16 through 12 gauge are made from material meeting the requirements of ASTM A612, ASTM A653-98, or ASTM A570, with a minimum yield of 50 KSI.
