OUTSIDE SALES
REPRESENTATIVE
Newark, CA
Objectives
and Duties:
The Steeler
Outside Sales Representative is responsible for all activities within his/her
assigned territory that relate to:
- Maintaining/improving sales and
service to existing Steeler customers, seeing each customer regularly
- Increasing Steelers’ customer
base through continuous prospecting
- Assuring excellent customer
satisfaction with products and deliveries by 1): Successfully
communicating with branch team members to facilitate on-time and
satisfactory deliveries, and 2): Seeking/monitoring customer feedback
after delivery
- Split your territory into 4
zones. Each zone will have 8 – 12 customers (STDAFO’s—Show Tell
Demonstrate Ask for Order).
· Promote
all Steeler product lines, including Smooth Products, using product samples
- Bid on jobs and present bid
packages to customers
- Office Days – Days each week
spent at Branch Office doing bids, e-mails, DODGE Reports and feedback,
credit issues, and team building
- CRM (Customer Relationship
Management)– documentation and input of each customer interaction and
conversation to help with scheduling of next visit
Job
Qualifications
- Relationship Skills a must
- 1-5 years proven successful
sales experience
- Construction
industry experience
- Strong
closing skills are required
- Associates
Degree preferred
- Must
posses a valid driver's license with no major traffic violations
- Ability

CLASS A DRIVER
Tucson, AZ
The Driver
will deliver construction materials to customers. The driver will also be
required to stock; load/unload truck using forklift or by hand in the yard or
at customer site; verify every load; stock; pull orders for will call
customers; and keep truck, yard and warehouse clean.
Job Qualifications
- Must have a 'Class A' CDL with
no traffic violations

INSIDE SALES
Seattle, WA
Responsibilities
This position responsible for walk-in Retail and Will-call sales, show-room
maintenance, merchandising, inventory control, warehousing, and other duties as
needed/assigned, in relation to:
- Maintaining/improving sales to
existing customers
- Assuring excellent customer
satisfaction with products and deliveries by 1): Successfully
communicating with team members to facilitate on-time and satisfactory deliveries,
and 2): Seeking/monitoring customer feedback after delivery
Daily Activities:
Sales Counter
- Talks with customers by phone
or at the counter. Takes orders for will-call or delivery.
- Fills out orders, enters sales
information into computer, determines charges for service requested,
collects deposits, and helps establish delivery dates.
- Provides quotes, resolves
complaints or inquiries with orders, delivery, billing, credits and
collections
- Solicits sale of new or
additional products. Calls on customers to help generate sales – promotions,
new products, etc.
- Responsible for control of
invoices. Checks for accuracy and corrects customer pricing. Maintains logs
and files for sales orders
- Assists customer billing and
customer accounts
- Responsible for cash register
and misc. customer cash sales
- Assists manager with
implementation of ideas/project for branch.
- Promotes safety and efficiency
with staff in performing daily job duties
Dispatching
- Assisting up orders for
delivery including maps, and special instructions for drivers
- Reviews dispatch board for
deliveries, assigns trucks, stockers, etc.
- Assists with all yard/warehouse
duties when yard personnel are busy
Requirements
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Construction knowledge or experience a plus
- Forklift experience a plus
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Seattle, WA
As a
Regional Sales Manager you would supervise sales in the Seattle Region and work
with the Corporate Sales and Marketing Manager. Responsibilities include
interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing
work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing
complaints and resolving problems; selling Steeler products to a region in
Seattle area through a customer base.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining/improving sales and
service to existing Steeler customers through STDAFOs (Show, Tell,
Demonstrate, Ask for Orders), seeing each customer regularly Increasing
Steelers’ customer base through continuous prospecting Assuring excellent
customer satisfaction with products and deliveries by 1): Successfully
communicating with branch team members to facilitate on-time and
satisfactory deliveries, and 2): Seeking/monitoring customer feedback
after delivery
- Develop standards of
performance for sales to meet budgeted sales goals for the year
- Work with new and existing
sales team implementing processes and procedures and ensure they are
followed
- Monitor call reports and other
tools to assess progress and where an intervention may be necessary
- Monitor, input customer
interaction into the CRM System (Customer Relationship Management)
- Communicate key issues,
actions, and results to Corporate Sales and Marketing Manager (CSMM)
- Motivate team to reach and
exceed sales goals by completing STDAFOs and call reports in the CRM
system

COLLECTION COORDINATOR

Responsibilities
- Reviewing customer accounts
- Resolving discrepancies
- Account Receivable calls:
answering customers questions concerning statements and invoices
- Managing lien rights
Requirements:
- High School or GED required
- Experience in Accounts
Receivable, Collections, and Lien Rights a plus but not required
