| The STEELER® SLOTTED STUD™ is an innovative and economical light gauge steel framing
Deflection Head-Of-Wall (HW) System which revolutionizes commercial and
residential construction techniques.
The STEELER® SLOTTED STUD™ is classified by Underwriters
Laboratories, Inc. for 500 successful cycles. It is unlike any other head-of-wall
assembly currently in the construction industry and can be used for both
non-load bearing and wind load-bearing walls. The STEELER® SLOTTED STUD™ has a slot of 2-1/4" which allows for up to a 2"
deflection depending on which Head-Of-Wall System is used. The Engineer of Record shall specify which
Head-Of-Wall System to use. |
